Welcome to the UIC Public Key Management Website (PKMW)
The UIC Ticket Security Group (TSG) and Ticket Layout Group (TLG) develop the specifications for barcodes used on rail mobile and paper tickets. To prevent counterfeiting, these barcodes are digitally signed using keys based on public-key (asymmetric) cryptography. This model requires public keys to be distributed to the organisations that carry out ticket controls.
This website enables the exchange of public keys and certificates between the entities involved. It is open to all UIC members whose business requires public key distribution, including for purely domestic use. Third-party users may also use it to retrieve the public keys and certificates they need.
